Climate Change Adaptation in Pakistan
Climate Change Adaptation in Pakistan is a large multi-year project based initiative which also works as a think tank and has evolved into a University-based think tank. It is in the context of this requirement for understanding adaptation to climate change that the Lahore University of Management Sciences and World Wide Fund for Nature Pakistan, have embarked upon a three year study of the determinants, impact and cost effectiveness of climate change. The project investigates the pattern, the costs and benefits, and the political economy of climate change adaptation strategies in selected districts of Sindh and Punjab. The objective of the project is to provide primary field-based research findings and recommendations to guide planners and policy makers on their expected return on conservation investment in the area of climate change adaptation and food security.
