Think tank

Chr. Michelsen Institute (CMI) is an independent research institute on global development and human rights. We address challenges facing poor and vulnerable groups, particularly in the global South. The Sustainable Development Goals frame our research agenda. We take pride in quality research, but know that change and development also depend on our interaction and dialogue with stakeholders and policy makers.
