Think tank

The Amazon Environmental Research Institute (IPAM) is a scientific, non-governmental, nonpartisan and non-profit organization that since 1995 works for the sustainable development of the Amazon. Its purpose is to consolidate, until 2035, the model of tropical Amazonian development, through the production of knowledge, implementation of local initiatives and influence in public policies, in a way that impacts economic development, social equality and environmental preservation.
